Well, I'm finally getting off my butt and posting info on my new book project.

First off, the title of the series is not 'Dinosaur', nor is it ';Project: Dinosaur'. That's just a placheolder until I can come up with something better.

Project: Dinosaur is a fantasy book series, only with dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures (from the dawn of life up to the end of the Ice Age) in the place of normal fanatsy creatures like dragons, unicorns, and the like.

Right now, I'm still creating background info, characters, on working on a plot outline. When I actually start writing it, expect another journal.

Here's the unofficial emblem I'm using for it: [link]
It's unoffical because I imagine when I get published (not I say 'when', not 'if'; I have high self-confidence) the cover artist and the publisher will create something of their own.

I hope to put up some drawings of the main characters... soon.

For those of you who know me, I can be pretty indecisive at times. For my writing, I blame my muse. To quote Sander Cohen, "...my muse is a fickle bitch with a VERY short attention span!" (pardon my French).

If you missed my last entry on inspiration (read it here: [link] very eloquent, I thought), you begin to get a small idea of how my mind works. Sadly, further inspiration on the Guardian Sagas has died an ignoble (temporary) death. To keep working, I'm going to focus on another project, one I mentioned a few journal entries back.

This time, I start to wander, I beat myself senseless. Once I come to, I'll know better than to mess with myself, and STAY FOCUSED!!!

Tottles.

News Update

  • Mood: Joy
  • Listening to: Take Me Away by Globus (awesome)
  • Reading: Face (its odd)
  • Watching: Ultraviolet (it rocks)
  • Playing: Left 4 Dead (killing zombies never gets old)
  • Eating: Sugar cookies (mmm, cookies)
  • Drinking: The blood of my enemies (or milk, that works too)
Sometimes, you're out walking and you see some inspiration. Sometimes, inspiration hits you in the head like a ton of bricks. Other times, it grabs you by the loins and starts punching you in the face until you beg for mercy and agree to act on said inspiration if it'll just stop beating you with a stick...

What brought that on? Inspiration, obviously.

In my previous entry, I stated that 'The Guardian Saga' was on hold. It is now off hold. New ideas and inspiration, along with a fresh, clean, lemon-scented look at its core, have promised that the cliche-ishness will be cut back. For those of you reading, expect artwork, soon, including what I plan to serve as my official emblem of the series.

And thatother project I spoke of? It still exists, along with like fifty of its friedns, all begging to be written. Have no fear, they shall recieve their limelight soon enough.

Been a while since I updated this, been busy with the other me.

Anyway, I have some news, both belated and not. The belated news is that I'm putting the Guardian Saga on hold for the time being. For the two of you who read this (one of whom is me), you already know this. For everyone else, its because it was a little too flat and cliche-ish for my tastes, so Im stepping back. When I get back to it, it will hopefully be with new eyes.

But I'm not sitting on my behind in the meantime. I've got a new project I'm working on, and I hope to let y'all see some stuff from it soon.

Until then.

Hello to all the people who read this (all one or two of you).

So far, it looks like college could be pretty fun, but I guess we'll see, no?

Anyway, due to new time restraints, the batch of new artwork I had planned for "The Guardian Saga" (I love the way that sounds) will be delayed. but fear not, it will come out, eventually.
